About the Team
Fanatics Collectibles is a new company operating at the intersection of collectibles, culture, and technology. Backed by world-class investors, operators, and sports & entertainment partners, we are building the global leader in next-generation collectibles. As part of the broader Fanatics ecosystem, we leverage a digital sports platform that spans over 900 sports properties and engages more than 81 million fans. Together, we are reimagining every part of the collectibles experience for fans, partners, and creators.
Role Summary
Fanatics Collectibles is seeking an Associate Project Manager (APM) responsible for assisting the project management team in scheduling and monitoring the development of Fanatics Collectibles. This position interfaces with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely execution of all deliverables. The APM functionally reports to the Project Manager.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure adherence to project milestones from all contributors and delivery of all Topps projects on schedule
- Assist in developing and publishing comprehensive milestone, design, and prepress schedules for approximately 100 projects annually
- Monitor progress and prioritize cross-functional teams of brand managers, editors, design, sales, finance, prepress, and production to ensure products are developed on time and to quality standards
- Support the Project Manager in reporting project status to Senior Management and escalating critical issues for resolution
- Schedule and attend meetings with appropriate internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain and update prepress schedules and status documents daily
- Identify missing deliverables and escalate issues for resolution
Skills and Experience Required
- 1+ years of Project Management experience or similar roles
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field (preferred)
- Familiarity with Excel
- Hands-on experience managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with the ability to maintain a strong leadership presence
- Excellent written and oral interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide information thoroughly and accurately
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Confidence chairing meetings with action-oriented outcomes
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask, manage multiple projects, and effectively determine priorities
- Knowledge of football and its seasonal transfer structure (plus)
