HCM SaaS Consultant (Contract)

The Associate Consultant assists customers with implementing Oracle enterprise applications solutions. The role requires frequent interaction with customers, implementation teams, and partners. The Associate Consultant will have expertise across the full implementation cycle and will be adept at implementing Oracle applications (SaaS/On-Premises) functionality.

Responsibilities

• Preparing for, facilitating, and gaining agreement on global design
• Documenting the client’s as-is process flows and communicating best practices for the to-be optimal state
• Adapting the solution for localizations or business processes specific to a client’s business unit or operating location
• Documenting and gaining agreement on the client configuration
• Implementing and configuring applications
• Developing a test strategy to validate the solution and confirming successful deployment
• Identifying risks or issues associated with assigned tasks; proactively alerting project leadership of any risks or issues

Functional Consulting Deliverables

• Collaborate with customers to gather and document customer business requirements
• Influence customers to modify current business practices, as required
• Manage scope and expectations with the customer
• Work with customers to implement and configure HCM solutions to support customer business requirements
• Establish credibility and rapport with internal and external stakeholders; work within project teams and collaborate cross-departmentally
• Work collaboratively within a project team both on and off customer sites
• Analyze and design solutions for business requirements, including complex configurations and/or technical components
• Assist in delivering client-facing workshops
• Define detailed functional requirements
• Work with technical teams to design, develop, and test automations and integrations
• Perform quality reviews of deliverables developed by other team members
• Collaborate and communicate with Project Managers and colleagues to facilitate on-time and on-budget delivery
• Train and mentor team members
• Achieve or exceed billable utilization targets
• Continue to increase product knowledge and pursue relevant certifications

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or final-year student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant discipline(s), including Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Human Resources, Business Management, Computer Science, etc.
• 1+ year of experience in application/SaaS implementation (fresh graduates welcome)
• Keen interest in a customer-facing consultant role
• Ability to guide customers based on leading practices
• Ability to work well in teams as well as independently
• Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written)
• Critical thinker and problem solver; curious learner
• Able to learn new products and technologies quickly on the job
• Capable of working independently, taking initiative with minimal supervision, and participating as a team member with a willingness to help where needed
