Investment Banking Analyst - TMT

Job Overview

Responsible for providing client relationship management and investment banking services, including strategic advisory services to corporate and private equity clients related to buyside and sellside M&A, debt and equity capital raising, as designated by industry/sector. Industry coverage includes industrials, financial sponsors, consumer and retail, healthcare, financial institutions, energy, and technology, media, and telecom.

Senior investment banking professionals are expected to generate a balanced mix of M&A, debt, and equity capital raising of $7 million to $30 million, subject to the attributes of their sector coverage. They are also expected to “sell the bank” by positioning the bank’s treasury and payment solutions product suite, as well as floating rate and F/X, private wealth, insurance, and other services.

Senior investment banking professionals are also expected to serve the bank’s corporate banking and commercial clients with strategic advisory and the aforementioned traditional investment banking services in partnership with the primary Commercial and Corporate Banking coverage professionals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Works closely with senior CIB professionals.
• Performs assigned duties with some independence, including due diligence, document processing, financial modeling, statistical analysis, and presentation development.
• Serves as a member of merger and acquisition and capital raising transaction teams, providing credit underwriting support, drafting information memoranda, and developing management and investor presentations.

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS degree.
• Proven analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Solid leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• 1 year of related work experience since graduation from an undergraduate program.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of related work experience since graduation from an undergraduate program.

Compensation

The annual base salary for this position is $105,000.
