To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Logistic Analyst located in Kallang, Singapore.

Enhance product workflow by researching and developing logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory. Create and review logistics procedures to maximize client satisfaction and minimize cost.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

• Ensure productivity, efficiency, and management of various logistics operations, including tracking product shipments, coordinating shipments, and supporting contract negotiations.
• Prepare budgets and cost analysis statements.
• Recommend improvements to existing or planned logistics processes.
• Research logistics data using methods such as data mining, data modeling, or cost/benefit research.
• Use investigation methods or tools to comprehend, predict, or control logistics operations or processes.
• Interpret logistics-related data, such as availability, maintainability, reliability, supply chain management, strategic sourcing or distribution, supplier management, or transportation.
• Prepare reports on logistics performance measures.
• Write or revise standard operating procedures for logistics processes.
• Collaborate with logistics management teams to optimize service levels, maintain supply-chain efficiency, and minimize cost.
• Maintain databases of logistics data and information in accordance with corporate policies.
• Conduct ongoing research in areas such as transportation costs, parts procurement, back orders, or delivery processes.
• Develop or maintain logistics models, such as cost estimating or demand forecasting.
• Monitor industry standards, trends, or practices to identify developments in logistics planning or execution.
• Track product flow from origin to final delivery and monitor the flow of vehicles or inventory using logistics systems.
• Define packaging requirements.
• Compute reporting metrics, such as on-time delivery rates and order fulfillment rates.
• Manage systems to ensure pricing structures adequately reflect logistics costing.
• Contact carriers for rates or schedules.
• Communicate with or monitor service providers, including ocean carriers, air freight forwarders, global consolidators, customs brokers, and trucking companies.
• Compare carrier or supplier locations and environmental policies to support transportation resolutions with lower environmental impact.
• Develop or maintain freight rate databases for use by supply chain departments to define the most economical modes of transportation.
• Reorganize shipping schedules to consolidate loads, maximize vehicle usage, or limit the movement of empty vehicles or containers.
• Develop or maintain payment systems to ensure accuracy of vendor payments.
• Route or reroute drivers in real time using remote route navigation software, satellite linkup systems, or GPS to improve operational efficiencies.
• Enter carbon-output or environmental-impact data into spreadsheets or environmental management/auditing software.

The Experience We’re Looking to Add to Our Team

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Prefer a minimum of 1 year of experience in materials or a related field.
• Background in manufacturing is desired.
