KPMG's Forensic practice consists of experienced professionals with expertise in investigations, AML/CTF, data analytics, FATCA/CRS, forensic technology, and disputes. We have helped some of the world's biggest companies on important matters of public interest in Singapore.

• Assessing and improving clients' AML controls and financial crime compliance

We also deploy technology tools to help clients effectively manage large volumes of data and documentation, support the disclosure of important material, and highlight fraud, weaknesses, and business opportunities from within corporate data.

Intern – Forensic Technology

As an Intern in the Forensic Technology service line, your scope of work will include:

• Assist in the collection, preservation, and analysis of digital evidence from laptops, servers, mobile devices, and cloud platforms
• Process and review large volumes of electronically stored information (ESI) using industry-leading eDiscovery tools
• Support investigations by identifying suspicious activities, deleted files, and digital footprints
• Get hands-on experience with tools such as EnCase, Nuix, Relativity, and more
• Contribute to documentation and reports
• Collaborate with experienced forensic technology professionals in a fast-paced environment
• Conduct research on forensic techniques to support ongoing investigations and improve team knowledge

Qualifications

• A curious mind with a strong interest in technology and digital investigations
• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of file systems and operating systems
• A team player who thrives in collaborative environments
• Bonus: Experience experimenting with Python or PowerShell, or strong research skills (e.g., using online resources effectively)
