Almanac is currently investing its tenth “flagship” fund and also manages vehicles pursuing other private and public market strategies.

Almanac’s differentiated strategy of making platform-level investments in real estate companies will require the analyst to understand valuations, business plans, and transaction rationale at the property level, as well as corporate finance and structuring considerations.

Summary

Almanac is seeking highly motivated individuals to intern within its investment team. The internship is designed to deepen research resources and support the team’s long-term track record of performance. Interns will work with a leading real estate private equity platform in a fast-paced environment with constant interaction with senior members of the team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to live deals, advance investment analysis, and synthesize findings
• Prepare internal and external memoranda
• Conduct due diligence on new investments
• Participate in special projects related to real estate research, Almanac portfolio companies, and technology/sustainability research
• Support fund marketing and existing client requests

Qualifications

• Seeking a degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• December 2027 or Spring 2028 expected graduation
• Technical foundations in corporate finance, accounting, and real estate analysis
• Analytical and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic, deep intellectual curiosity, and a humble, affable approach
• Quantitative abilities, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong judgment, critical thinking, and writing skills; ability to articulate and present ideas effectively both orally and in writing
• Ability to show initiative and creativity in problem-solving; demonstrated experience conducting research and working with others to develop solutions
• Minimum GPA of 3.5

Compensation Details

The hourly rate for this role is $40. This is the hourly rate the Company believes it would pay for this role at the time of posting. The Company may ultimately pay more or less than the posted rate, and the hourly rate may be modified in the future. This hourly rate applies only to jobs performed in the job posting location.
