LINK 2027: Software Development Intensive Program

This program will focus on current sophomores (those in their second year of university).

Location: New York City, NY (Five Rings HQ)
Schedule: LINK is offered in three one-week sessions

• LINK[0]: January 4–8, 2027
• LINK[1]: January 11–15, 2027
• LINK[2]: August 9–13, 2027

Program Overview

Five Rings will host an immersive, 5-day workshop exploring how trading systems technologies are designed and built. Leveraging our state-of-the-art C++ and Python development environment on Linux and mentored by our full-time software developers, participants will cover a wide range of topics, from network protocol stacks and distributed systems to C++23 and the fundamentals of automated trading system programming.

Current sophomores are invited to apply to join us in New York City at our office in Brookfield Place for this week-long intensive experience.

Candidates apply once to LINK. Session placement is determined during the offer process based on your availability and university’s academic calendar.
