Role

• Monitor execution across equities, FX, futures, and other asset classes, trading in different regions.
• Provide first-line support for issues arising from the automated execution flow.
• Conduct project work, including adding new liquidity to the execution platform and reducing the cost of implementing WorldQuant’s models.
• Analyze large datasets to guide further automation and refinement of execution desk processes.
• Interface directly with Portfolio Managers, Brokers, Senior Management, Compliance, Risk, and other teams.

What You’ll Bring

• Degree in a quantitative or technical discipline from a top-tier institution.
• 1+ years of work experience gained in a buy-side or sell-side institution in a Trading, DevOps, or Analytics role supporting investment strategies.
• Enthusiasm to learn more about financial markets and execution trading.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python) and databases (SQL) is a strong plus.
• Experience with at least one mainstream asset class (equities, FX, fixed income, credit, derivatives).

WorldQuant is a total compensation organization where you will be eligible for a base salary, a discretionary performance bonus, and benefits. The estimated salary range for this position is $125,000 to $150,000, specific to New York and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer, the company will take into consideration an individual’s experience level and qualifications to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
