As a Software Engineer Intern (Data Engineering), you’ll join the Commodities trading group to build data pipelines for the ingestion and analysis of datasets. You’ll work closely with senior data engineers and key stakeholders across both greenfield and established projects. Initially, the role focuses on delivering data to our analysts, with opportunities to help design and build the core data infrastructure used across the group as your experience grows. While your days will be focused on complex quantitative trading projects, your evenings will include organized social events to help you experience life and work in Singapore.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Develop reliable ETL pipelines in Python
• Work on a small team alongside experienced engineers
• Maintain regular direct contact with internal stakeholders
• Contribute to both legacy and greenfield projects

What You Bring to the Team

• Pursuing a bachelor’s in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related science discipline, with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028
• Knowledge and experience with:
  • Relational databases (Postgres preferred)
  • Pandas
  • Data engineering
• Excellent software development skills in Python and a strong curiosity to learn and adopt new technologies quickly
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
