Associate, Risk Governance

Location: New York, New York

Job Duties

• Assess risk for various engineering processes to identify a rationalized, prioritized list of risks and create a targeted book-of-work for engineering teams across the firm.
• Perform risk assessment, rationalization, and prioritization for specific domains within the engineering division.
• Support the Digital Risk Office (DRO) roadmap to achieve ongoing compliance with, and enhancement of, the DRO framework.
• Participate in risk discovery and risk assessment exercises.
• Engage with core engineering leads to ensure timely risk remediation.
• Engage with divisional risk leads to support timely adoption of core engineering platform and process solutions within business teams to reduce risk.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the DRO framework and related processes.

Job Requirements

• Option 1: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Information Security Policy and Management, or a related field, plus one (1) year of experience in the job offered or a related role.
• Option 2: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Information Security Policy and Management, or a related field, plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related role.
• Prior experience must include:
  • Option 1 (Master’s): one (1) year of experience
  • Option 2 (Bachelor’s): two (2) years of experience
  • Risk management methodologies and frameworks.
  • Assessing engineering processes, including IAM, SDLC, Cyber Response, and Resilience.
  • Technologies including cloud, mobile, and infrastructure.

Salary Range

Annual base salary for this New York, New York based position is $156,000 - $161,400.
