Software Engineer

Position Overview

The Autodesk Identity team is seeking a passionate Software Development Engineer to join a closely-knit product engineering team responsible for building the Identity SDK. In this role, you will develop, test, and support key components that help Autodesk products integrate with Autodesk’s Identity and Authorization solution. You will be involved in testing core component functionality used by 50+ Autodesk products across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms. You will collaborate with engineers across the globe to help integrate the component across Autodesk’s Desktop Product offerings.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and maintain cross-platform Identity Desktop SDK components.
• Design and implement the Identity Desktop SDK to support forward-looking features of the Autodesk Identity and Access Management systems.
• Debug and resolve complicated defects.
• Implement the product according to specifications.
• Own the overall quality of the SDK.
• Write unit tests and integration tests to maintain the quality of deliverables.
• Work with internal teams to support SDK integration.
• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Strong object-oriented design and implementation skills.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong experience in a programming language, preferably C++.
• Exposure to Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.
• Experience building software using agile software development processes.
• Experience building resilient and fault-tolerant code.
• Knowledge of Jenkins and Git.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building products or services and a desire for continuous learning and growth.
• Ability to collaborate with a large group of engineers.
• Experience in Python, Go, and testing frameworks.
