Citi’s Internal Audit Group is seeking Summer Analysts to join the team in New York, NY. Citi’s Internal Audit division provides independent assessments of the company’s governance, risk management, and internal control environment for key stakeholders, including the Board of Directors, senior management, and Citi’s numerous regulators globally. Internal Audit is a change agent within Citi, aimed at enhancing the control culture worldwide and supporting senior management decision-making.

Internal Audit Summer Analyst Program

The Citi Internal Audit Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week internship opportunity in New York, NY. The Program provides development-focused opportunities alongside structured classroom training, mentoring, and individual development. As an Internal Audit Summer Analyst, you will be assigned to one of Citi’s core businesses or global functions to help ensure a sound control framework and environment through the delivery of independent, timely assurance.

What Your Time Will Look Like

The Summer Analyst program begins in June with a 3-day training program, providing Summer Analysts with an overview of Citi and an introduction to Citi’s Internal Audit organization. During the program, Summer Analysts will receive Senior and Junior mentors, networking opportunities, and Senior Speaker Events hosted by Citi’s senior internal audit professionals.

Most opportunities require and enable cross-functional exposure, giving candidates a well-rounded experience at Citi. Summer Analysts will receive real-world work and are expected to add value to their teams throughout the 10 weeks. In addition to daily work, you will also have the opportunity to network with other Citi interns, current program participants, and other internal audit professionals.

The program concludes with Summer Analysts presenting their accomplishments and lessons learned to Senior Internal Audit management. Top performing Summer Analysts will be considered for the full-time Internal Audit Analyst Programs.

Qualifications

• At least a 3.3 GPA (preferred)
• Graduating with a Bachelor’s degree between December 2027 and June 2028
• Will not require sponsorship for U.S. work authorization now or at any time in the future

Compensation

Annual Salary: $85,000.00
