Hospitality Team Member (Corporate Services)
Ares is seeking a Hospitality team member for our Corporate Services team in New York.
The Corporate Services team provides best-in-class support for office operations and employee amenities within our new 8-floor, Class A office in midtown Manhattan.
The successful candidate will exhibit a strong work ethic and timeliness, with the ability to be flexible and prioritize needs across pantries and kitchens. This role focuses on pantry and common space support, including dishwashing, stocking pantry and restroom supplies, and general tidying within a corporate environment. The role is highly mobile and requires a candidate who is hardworking and focused on delivering a clean space. Experience in food service, washing dishes, and cleaning is preferred, ideally with some experience in an office environment.
Primary Functions and Essential Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain best-in-class presentation and display across Ares pantries, restrooms, wellness, and other common areas.
- Stock and maintain beverages (coffee, cold brew, tea, sodas, etc.) in pantries.
- Stock and maintain perishables and nonperishables (dairy, fruit, snacks, refrigerated snacks, etc.) in pantries.
- Manage inventory for supplies across common areas, including stock/restock.
- Follow pantry cleanliness and inventory management best practices, including “First In, First Out,” active management of expiry dates, and commercial office-level cleaning standards.
- Support ongoing dishwashing, stocking, and crockery replacement on assigned floors.
- Wash dishes across multiple floors and multiple pantries continuously throughout the day.
- Track overall dish count and report when additional stock is needed.
- Check cleanliness of pantries and restrooms; wipe down counters and equipment as needed.
- Perform monthly cleaning of appliances.
- Perform weekly cleaning of dishware and snack cupboards/storage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish storage areas (drawers and cabinets).
- Provide meeting room support for catered meetings, including catering and beverage setup, breakdown, and refresh throughout.
- Report facilities issues through the proper channels to the larger facilities team.
- Align with daily calendared meetings as assigned and independently execute support for assigned meetings.
- Perform physical tasks requiring reaching above shoulder and below knee.
- Help load and unload supplies as required.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience Required
- Knowledge and/or experience with proper dishwashing procedures and experience cleaning.
- 1–2 years of Food Services or Corporate Services (Hospitality/Professional Services) is ideal.

- Able to lift upwards of 50 lbs.

Compensation
The anticipated rate for this position is $55,000 - $60,000. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus.
