Job Description

Keppel is a leading global asset manager and operator with strong capabilities in energy & environment, urban development, and connectivity, creating solutions for a sustainable future.

The intern will be responsible for:

• Conducting research on emerging AI solutions relevant to the energy/renewables sector
• Developing simple AI use cases (e.g., price forecasting, demand/load forecasting, and contract review)
• Supporting the integration of AI tools into business processes
• Working with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data/AI-driven solutions

Learning Outcomes

• Learn to identify where and how AI can optimize business processes, improve customer segmentation, and accelerate sales
• Understand how to evaluate the business impact of AI tools and track performance metrics
• Learn to ingest, clean, preprocess, and manage large datasets

Job Requirements

• Familiarity with machine learning or AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT APIs, Azure AI)
• Interest in AI, automation, and business applications
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work with non-technical stakeholders
