[Keppel Internship Programme 2027] Intern, RE Investment - KEAF (Jan - May 2027)

Job Description

Keppel is a leading global asset manager and operator with strong capabilities in energy & environment, urban development, and connectivity, creating solutions for a sustainable future.

The intern will support the Investment team at the Keppel Education Asset Fund (KEAF), including:

• Supporting the Investment team in preparing financial models, internal presentations, and papers for approvals; where applicable, presenting to senior management.
• Maintaining and updating the KEAF internal database and Power BI as part of day-to-day operations (prior Power BI knowledge not required).
• Providing support in asset management work and investors’ reporting.
• Assisting in collating data and submitting data for GRESB.

Learning Outcomes

• Learn how to evaluate education-related deals (including analyzing operators) and student housing deals, conduct feasibility studies, and use analytics such as Power BI.
• Improve analytical and communication skills through both verbal and written presentations.
• Understand the importance of ESG for fund management and what is required for GRESB submissions.
• Develop adaptability and learn to work with different people within an organization.

Job Requirements

1. Energetic and driven, with a strong interest in real estate investment.
2. Second- or third-year undergraduate studying toward a degree in accounting, finance, economics, real estate, or another related subject; master’s students may also apply.
3. Keen interest in real estate investment and a willingness to learn.
4. Ability to work effectively as a team player.
5. Strong Excel modeling and analysis skills.
6. Good communication skills (verbal and written).
7. Strong analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative).
