Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) & Facility Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist the department in evaluating hazards, exposures, and overall impacts associated with the operation of process equipment, building facilities, and projects.
• Participate in incident investigations, field audits, and other incident causation and prevention and preventive maintenance activities.
• Learn and contribute ideas for process improvement to support overall safety and health standards and building facilities within the organization.
• Assist the department with daily HSE and facilities administration, including documentation, occupational health and safety programs, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Assist with ISO documentation audits.
• Support general HSE and facilities administration.
• Perform other duties as required by the department.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering or Facilities Management.
• Experience in Safety and Health and knowledge of building facilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to create graphs, presentation materials, and documentation.
