Medicare Prescription Drug Specialist (L&H)

Position Details

• Start date: August 24
• Contract role ending: December 15 (with possibility of permanent placement)
• Work arrangement: 100% fully remote
• Equipment: Provided
• Pay: $25/hr

Schedule

• Training (2–3 weeks): Monday–Friday, 9:00am–4:00pm EST
• Outside annual enrollment: 9:00am–6:00pm EST
• Open enrollment: 8-hour shifts starting at 9:00am, 10:00am, or 11:00am EST

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound calls and appointments from individuals inquiring about Medicare Part D plans.
• Support both new business and an existing book of business for Part D annual reviews.
• Identify client needs and match solutions to those needs.
• Provide quotes using Gallagher sales systems and carrier quoting tools.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with prospective members.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma (or equivalent) and/or 1–2 years related experience.
• Must have an active Life & Health (Accident/Health) insurance license in your state of residency.
• Ability to get appointed as a licensed sales agent by multiple insurance carriers or be released if already appointed (e.g., UHC, Health Spring, Aetna, Golden Rule, Wellcare, etc.).
• Demonstrated proficiency with sales systems.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ideal candidate: Medicare sales experience.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range reflects the anticipated low and high end for this position, and actual compensation will be influenced by factors including experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
