Northeast Regional Support Services Assistant & Event Coordinator
The Northeast Regional Support Services Assistant & Event Coordinator provides essential support to ensure the efficient operation of the office. This role involves performing a variety of administrative tasks, including managing schedules, handling correspondence, and assisting with project coordination and regional event planning.
Your Impact
- Manage New York City office facilities to maintain cleanliness and appearance and ensure a pleasant and functioning work environment.
- Coordinate all contracted office facilities vendors.
- Assist in NYC Office Reception duties, including greeting and announcing visitors, offering hospitality, and directing them to reserved resources as needed.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails to the appropriate resource.
- Provide phone coverage for the Northeast Region during personnel lunches, breaks, and personal time off.
- Assist with processing vendor invoices related to the NYC office.
- Administer and maintain the office desk reservation system, issue guest passes, and reserve conference rooms and meeting spaces.
- Serve as back-up to other Regional Front Desk teammates during time out of the office, which may include Reception Duties and Daily Mail Processing.
- Be the key point person for office and building Fire & Evacuation plans; liaise with building management, security, and engineering personnel to resolve building-related issues; receive, investigate, and respond to all office-related complaints.
- Assist with planning, organizing, and executing sponsored regional events.
- Assist Regional Leaders in scheduling calendar meetings, monitoring responses, and processing expense reimbursement in Concur.
Successful Candidate Will Have
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in an administrative role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office software.

At Risk Strategies Company, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings. The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected pay range for this position is between $24.90 - $37.50 per hour. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Pay Range: 24.90 - 37.50 Hourly
