Role Overview

As a Deal Analytics Senior Associate, you will assist in project scoping and strategic planning, research and analyze business strategies, and develop insightful analyses. You will design data integration workflows, execute various data and analytic techniques, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to present findings and prepare client deliverables. Additionally, you should possess strong financial and business acumen and excellent communication skills.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in project scoping and strategic planning for transaction-related analytics engagements.
  • Research and analyze business performance, strategy, and financial data to develop meaningful insights.
  • Participate in client meetings and site visits to gather information and validate analytical assumptions.
  • Design and execute data integration and analytical workflows to support deal analysis.
  • Apply a range of analytical techniques to address engagement objectives and client questions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and present analytical findings.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, economics, mathematics, computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • 1–6 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting transaction-related or deal analytics engagements.
  • Strong ability to communicate analytical concepts in business terms.

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. Pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $88,900 - $168,300
