What is Kalshi?
Kalshi has defined a new category: prediction markets. Kalshi allows people to trade on the outcome of any events and turn any question about the future into a financial asset. Kalshi fought for years and legalized prediction markets in the US for the first time in history, and is currently the fastest growing financial market in America, with thousands of markets across politics, economics, financials, weather, tech, AI, culture and more.
We believe prediction markets have the potential to be the largest financial market because they turn anything into a financial position.
- Our vision: build the largest financial market on the planet.
- Our mission: bring more truth to the world through the power of markets.
Our culture is simple: we hire talented people, work hard, and enjoy the climb. We are looking for ambitious and exceptional people to join our small team to help us build the next generation of financial markets.
Role Roadmap
We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Paralegal to support Kalshi’s Legal and Compliance teams in a fast-moving, highly regulated environment. - Manage calendars, trackers, and version control for regulatory filings, rulebooks, and legal documentation
- Research and summarize relevant CFTC rules, guidance, and no-action letters to support Legal and Compliance work
- Coordinate cross-functional legal and compliance projects, tracking deliverables and following up to ensure timely execution
- Prepare and maintain presentations, reports, and materials for legal leadership, regulatory meetings, and internal reviews
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certification or J.D. coursework preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in a paralegal, legal operations, or regulatory support role within a regulated financial or fintech environment
- Familiarity with CFTC regulations, DCM/DCO filings, or similar regulatory frameworks
- Strong writing, organizational, and project management skills with high attention to detail
- Comfort working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-compliance environment
- Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, including document and deck creation
- A proactive, collaborative mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
