Responsibilities
- Put clients first and exceed their expectations — deliver attentive and friendly service, creating a welcoming environment.
- Manage assigned clients and proactively meet with them, both in person and over the phone, to build lasting relationships, understand financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
- Engage in clear, polite, consultative communication to understand and help clients, building trust — ask questions and listen to understand, anticipate their needs.
- Educate and connect clients to technology solutions such as the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs to help them with their banking needs whenever, wherever, and however they want.
- Learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately to effectively consult with clients about banking solutions, and collaborate with and connect them to our team of experts for specialized financial needs.
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or related industries with proven success in acquiring new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results.
- Ability to create memorable experiences for clients and elevate the client experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with proven ability to tailor features and benefits of products and services to clients with differing needs.
- Ability to quickly and effectively resolve client issues with attention to detail and provide a consistent client experience.
- Operate within established risk parameters and meet internal/external risk and compliance obligations, including completion of required training.
- High school diploma, GED, or foreign equivalents.
- The Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements. All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire, with study materials and support provided.
- Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings.

- Experience adhering to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

An employment offer is contingent on JPMorgan Chase's review of your criminal conviction history, credit report, information available through NMLS, and other information relevant to determining financial responsibility and fitness for the position. Continued employment is contingent upon compliance with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd Frank Loan Originator requirements.
