Analyst - Healthcare Advisory (London)

Evercore seeks to hire a highly motivated, self-starting Analyst for its Healthcare team in London.

Evercore's Healthcare team is a highly successful and expanding advisory franchise within one of the world's leading independent investment banks. The team advises healthcare and life sciences clients across biopharma, services, medical technology, diagnostics, and technology-enabled healthcare with a focus on complex, high-impact strategic situations. Analysts work closely with senior bankers in lean teams, supporting M&A, strategic advisory, shareholder advisory matters, and other transformative transactions for leading public and private companies across Europe and globally.

Primary Responsibilities

Evercore Analysts are highly motivated individuals with a strong interest in strategic advisory and mergers and acquisitions, and a deep interest in the Healthcare Industry. Analysts will work on a variety of assignments including:

• Preparing for and attending client meetings
• Financial modelling
• Industry analysis
• Due diligence
• New client development

Analysts typically work as part of small teams and have close contact with senior client contacts as well as partners within the firm. This position offers significant responsibility and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully in a fast-paced, growing advisory platform.

Specific Qualifications

The Analyst will be ambitious, self-directed, creative and resourceful. The candidate will be passionately interested in a career in healthcare investment banking, intellectually curious and eager to learn. We are seeking an academically accomplished candidate with a demonstrated ability to manage several projects concurrently and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

• 0-2 years of investment banking experience; Healthcare experience would be advantageous
• Superior analytical skills and demonstrated excellence in academic coursework
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and ability to articulate ideas
• Strong work ethic and exceptional attention to detail
• Calm under pressure with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously
