The role
As an HR SOX Remediation Analyst, you’ll support the delivery of remediation activity to bring UK HR controls to a SOX‑auditable standard. You’ll work as part of a wider project team, helping to track, coordinate and deliver remediation actions by aligning control requirements with HR processes and policies. The focus of the role is on supporting delivery, maintaining oversight of progress and ensuring remediation activity is completed to the required standard.
What you’ll be doing

- Assist in translating control requirements into practical HR processes and policy updates
- Maintain and update remediation plans, ensuring actions are clearly tracked and progressed
- Track the status of remediation activity and highlight gaps, delays or risks
- Prepare regular progress updates and reports for stakeholders and project leads
- Work with stakeholders across teams and regions to gather information and support delivery
- Identify emerging risks or issues and escalate them in a timely way
- Ensure documentation is complete, accurate and aligned to audit requirements
- Support the coordination of activity across multiple workstreams to ensure consistency
- Contribute to improving how remediation activity is tracked, reported and managed
Who we’re looking for
- Experience supporting projects, remediation activity or control delivery in a structured environment
- Understanding of risk and controls, either through audit, compliance or operational roles
- Experience working with processes or documentation, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to track progress, manage data and produce clear updates or reporting
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and supporting delivery across teams
- Awareness of HR processes or policies is helpful but not essential
- Exposure to SOX or regulatory environments is desirable but not required
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in risk, controls, audit or project support is desirable
- Any professional qualification in risk, audit or compliance is beneficial but not essential
- Strong written and verbal English, with the ability to communicate information clearly
- Good numeracy skills, with confidence working with data and tracking progress
- Strong stakeholder management skills
