Job Purpose

Allianz Apprenticeship programme is a 12-month program. The objective of this programme is to attract, develop, and retain talented individuals who will become future leaders in the company, while also fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment. Business Functions: Finance.

What you do

• Support the CFO office / department in board and senior management presentations as well as PMO activities of strategic and transformational projects (e.g. capital management, talent development, transformation, M&A).
• Support Finance function in yearly strategic planning cycle in collaboration with other departments (e.g. Strategy team).
• Aid in preparation and facilitation of management and working meetings (e.g. regional and local steering committees, workshops).
• Assist in preparing financial reports and forecasts in collaboration with the reporting team.
• Participate in financial analysis (P/L and balance sheet) and data reconciliation, and support in driving recommendations for the business.
• Collaborate with different functions within the Finance department and liaise with other departments (People & Culture, COO, Distribution & Strategy).
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance department.
• Participate and co-lead a Sustainability project and final presentation to the Regional Board of Management.
• Involvement in a sustainability year-long project for all apprentices, with final presentation at AZAP Stand-up or the Board Members.

Job Rotation

• Within the CFO department, ongoing regional and global projects in the fields of:
  1. Capital Management
  2. Finance Transformation
  3. Finance Talent Development
• In addition to Finance-related programs and initiatives, the apprentice will participate in regional planning cycles and sustainability projects, as well as rotations (2–3 weeks) into other departments (e.g., Distribution, IT, Ops). Rotations are guided by the apprentice’s interests and development goals.
• Mentorship Programme: A dedicated mentor (senior leader within Allianz, e.g. Regional Head of Finance) for job shadowing, regular catch-ups, experience sharing, and guidance.

What you bring

• Recent graduate (between 2024–2026) from any local polytechnic in Singapore.
• Ability to bring new ideas and perspectives to foster innovative solutions and approaches within the organization.
• Eagerness to learn and take initiative in projects and tasks.
• Flexibility and openness to change in a dynamic work environment.
• AI skills (e.g., ChatGPT and Copilot) are an advantage.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
