Position

Officer, FXPB Middle Office – Hybrid, based in Singapore. This role supports the FX Prime Brokerage (FXPB) team with daily processing, monitoring, and reconciliation of all FX transactions for FXPB clients worldwide. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive client service and support to the FXPB Client Executive team in the daily processing, monitoring, and reconciliation of all FX transactions for FXPB clients globally.
  • Partner with global teams to strengthen support for the FXPB platinum client base.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for client/administrator operational inquiries.
  • Monitor all FXPB client trading within the FXPB matching system (TRM).
  • Assist in reducing erroneous trades and errors.
  • Help optimize trading flows by seeking operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with FX Operations teams globally to reduce operational risk.
  • Book exotic option types in Simpliciti and process NDF fixes.
  • Contribute to targets, including a 15% reduction in MTPs.
  • Support and test system upgrades and provide solutions for tech-related issues.
  • Perform daily reconciliation for FX and Options regarding breaks and P&L.

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of supported products, markets, and processes.
  • Exposure to Prime Brokerage Middle Office products with cross-training opportunities in Equity and Fixed Income Prime Brokerage.
  • Participate in development and re-engineering efforts for FXPB processes (e.g., Novations, balance sheet reductions).
  • Achieve full proficiency in department technology and tools.
  • Enhance communication and organizational skills; meet targets and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation, flexibility, and a drive to succeed for career advancement.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Client service experience is essential.
  • Background in Middle Office or Operations.
  • Exposure to FX products/solutions and other Bank product areas.
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus.
  • Ability to schedule work effectively and manage priorities.
  • Experience building positive working relationships and root-cause analysis to resolve issues promptly.

Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Computer literate with the ability to learn multiple in-house systems quickly.
  • Numerate with sound judgment and professional problem-solving abilities; escalate to supervisor as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Strong numerical skills.
  • Industry exams (e.g., IAQ modules or equivalent) are a plus.
