Overview
We are looking for an exceptional individual with the ability to support our clients’ growth on a global scale, deepen client relationships, and continue to deliver best-in-class solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate origination efforts with Greater China HQ bankers and product teams to identify, structure, and deliver value-add Solutions across the product universe, including DCM, Payments (Treasury Services/Cash Management), Trade Finance, Lending, FX & Rates, Commodities, Futures & Options, and Asset Management.
- Cultivate and develop sustainable client relationships by proactively addressing Greater China-HQ corporate clients’ banking requirements, leveraging JPMorgan’s global network and value propositions.
- Conduct high-quality deal pitches leveraging well-thought-out account plans, tailor-made pitch books, and detailed briefing memos.
- Assume full ownership of end-to-end deal execution with a strong sense of responsibility and leadership.
- Support senior bankers in carrying out end-to-end deal processes, maintaining existing business relationships, conducting industry research, and managing KYC onboarding, renewal, and remediation.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar corporate banking role (preferred)
- English language skills are essential; proficiency in Mandarin is beneficial for liaising with clients from the China market
- Solid knowledge of corporate banking products, including credit underwriting, payments, trade finance, FX, and commodities hedging
- Strong financial analytical skills; ability to identify clients’ potential banking requirements through quantitative and qualitative analysis, including credit & risk analysis, capital structure, and business model analysis
- Demonstrated integrity, partnership, and teamwork
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasive skills; strong influencing abilities
- Ability to multi-task and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proven track record of managing cross-cultural environments and fostering inter-department collaboration
