Your team
The IG Prime Sales Team is expanding into the Asia-Pacific region, and we are now building out our Singapore presence. As a member of the team, you will support our regional sales effort across the hedge fund, family office and broker space — learning the full sales cycle while contributing to new business origination from day one.
Your Role in the Team's Success
Our team is responsible for driving revenues and growing IG Prime's market share across multiple geographies. In this role, you will support our senior Singapore-based salesperson and work closely with the London team, gaining exposure to the full range of IG Prime's institutional client base while developing your own sales funnel, network and skillset in one of Asia's most important financial centres.
What you'll do
- Develop a solid understanding of IG Prime's products, capabilities and competitive positioning
- Support senior team members in identifying and developing new client opportunities across the Asia-Pacific region
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of pitches and presentations to prospective clients
- Help manage and grow existing client relationships, ensuring a high standard of ongoing service
- Represent IG Prime at marketing events, conferences and networking opportunities across the region
- Work closely with internal stakeholders globally — including operations, risk and technology — to ensure seamless client onboarding and servicing
- Contribute to the development of sales materials, pipeline reporting and market intelligence
- Support the team in building out our regional sales processes and best practices
What you'll need for this role
- 1–2 years' experience in an institutional financial services role — prime brokerage, capital markets, or institutional sales experience preferred
- A genuine interest in financial markets and a desire to build a career in institutional sales
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage with clients and internal stakeholders
- An ability to understand and articulate financial products and solutions clearly
- A proactive, self-starter mindset with the willingness to take initiative in a fast-moving environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail — comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese or other Asian languages is preferred
- An existing network within the Asia-Pacific financial community is a plus, but not required
