Do you want to break into Advisory Sales within Global Markets? Are you target driven with the ability to develop innovative solutions for clients? We are seeking a junior Markets Salesperson to support the Multi Product Sales team in New York. The role is five days a week on the New York trading desk.

Key responsibilities include providing sales backup to the Multi Product Sales team in New York, working closely with teams on analyst marketing schedules, company roadshows, capital markets transactions and client engagement events, providing business expense support and timely submission of team expenses, supporting internal projects and distribution initiatives, and leveraging AI-driven sales technology to improve efficiency in the client coverage process. The position is a stepping-stone toward a long career in Markets Sales, with progression based on development in Global Markets, Cross Product, team support, and client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Provide sales backup to the Multi Product Sales team in New York; role will be five days/week on the New York trading desk
  • Collaborate with teams on analyst marketing schedules, company roadshows, capital markets transactions, and client engagement events
  • Provide business expense support and timely submission of team expenses

Your team

You will join a strong franchise working on the Multi Product Sales team in New York, with additional support provided to the regions. We provide Cross-Markets client coverage with a focus on our Equity Advisory Platform. As an Advisory Sales Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in growing and broadening firm-to-firm relationships with key institutional clients primarily in New York and also in the regions.

Your expertise

  • Ideally 1–2 years of experience, with a preference for client-facing roles
  • Working knowledge of financial markets, instruments and strategies
  • Adept communicator and collaborator, able to adapt style to the audience
  • A passion for following market developments and understanding current and anticipated trends
  • Driven, with the ability to thrive in a high-paced environment with a consistently professional manner
  • Fluent in English to support the local client base
