F&S Analytics - Analyst

Job Description

Daily position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Develop and maintain proprietary databases, reports and monitors
• Analyze and improve existing code to enhance performance and value
• Work with mathematical modelling and algorithmic development
• Analyze loan information for securitization deals, whole loan transactions, and warehouse facilities
• Manage information for a variety of financial assets, providing analysis and reporting for warehouse financing, securitizations, and corporate advisory projects
• Collaborate with senior investment banking officers, senior financial quants, portfolio managers, and back-office operation teams

Basic Qualifications

• Strong Excel, VBA and Database SQL skills
• Degrees in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or other related technical majors are required
• Recent graduate from a financial engineering school or 1–3 years of comparable experience in a financial institution
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, dynamic investment banking environment
• Strong ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic investment banking environment and to meet deadlines and complete time-sensitive duties, as assigned
• A team player, able to interact effectively with team members
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of R, Python and advanced programming languages is an asset
• Understanding of financial models, statistical analysis, and simulation

Education

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

$58,656.00 - $150,640.00
