Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, test, and document embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services.
• Translate functional requirements into robust, efficient, supportable solutions that integrate with the overall system architecture.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle—from design and implementation to testing, documentation, delivery, and maintenance.
• Produce comprehensive, usable software documentation.
• Evaluate and decide on the use of new or existing software products and tools.
• Mentor junior development engineers.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, and one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
• One year of experience in designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using:
  • C#, C++, Java, or Perl; and
  • Object-Oriented Design.

Compensation & Schedule

40 hours per week, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Salary Range: $158,100/year to $213,800/year
