What You’ll Do

• Financial Planning: participate in financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis for Uber’s global business
• Strategic Thinking: apply business judgment and financial insights to assist with decision making related to new initiatives, products, and business opportunities
• Financial Modeling: build intricate financial models from scratch, improve existing models, and decompose complex models into component parts
• Operational Excellence: lead initiatives to scale from startup to enterprise

Basic Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a BS/BA program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (graduation date Winter 2028 – Spring 2029)
• Basic knowledge of GAAP and experience with Excel or Google Sheets
• Minimum 1 year of involvement in extracurricular activities, internships, or related opportunities

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior analytical internship experience in technology, including FP&A, investment banking, management consulting, or private equity
• Leadership positions in extracurricular activities
• Understanding of GAAP, enterprise-level financial planning systems, SQL, and/or statistical software
• Strong analytical skills and excellent interpersonal abilities
• Ability to structure effective presentations
• Attention to detail and ability to execute in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter who takes initiative, sets goals, and meets them

Location & Compensation

For New York, NY-based roles: The base hourly rate is USD $31.00 per hour. US interns are eligible for comprehensive health coverage, life and disability insurance, and paid time off.
