Engineer Test Engineering

Job Overview

Develop, optimize and sustain Test Equipment & Process capability to meet operations goals. May perform as an individual contributor or as a manager, depending on assignment. Responsibilities include process control, testing, inspection, equipment design and collaboration with suppliers, with a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and environmental, health, and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements methods and procedures for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection to ensure products are free of flaws and function as designed.
• Designs and installs sophisticated testing equipment and conducts product testing and analysis to maintain quality levels and minimize defects and failure rates.
• Analyzes reports and defective products to determine trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborates with supplier representatives on quality problems, ensures effective corrective actions are implemented, and contributes to supplier quality improvement programs.
• Performs all activities in a safe and responsible manner and supports Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.
• Works on and collaborates with other projects and/or assignments as needed.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years of test engineering experience, preferably in the semiconductor wafer fabrication industry.
• Strong communication skills (interpersonal, oral and written).
• Strong analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
