Project Description

This project focuses on improving burn-in equipment availability through data-driven analysis of scheduled and unscheduled downtime. The project involves evaluating equipment performance trends, identifying key contributors to downtime, and developing improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency. The intern will gain exposure to equipment engineering practices in a semiconductor manufacturing environment and apply analytical and problem-solving approaches to a real-world engineering challenge.

Objective of the Project

• Analyze equipment downtime data to identify patterns and key contributors
• Develop and propose strategies to improve equipment availability and efficiency
• Apply structured problem-solving methodologies in an engineering context

Project Scope

• Study burn-in equipment processes, performance metrics, and maintenance workflows
• Perform data analysis on historical downtime records
• Identify potential root causes of scheduled and unscheduled downtime
• Evaluate improvement opportunities through engineering analysis and benchmarking
