Programme Description

Blackstone’s Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week in-person experience providing extensive exposure across the firm. The program includes mentorship, ongoing feedback, technical and soft-skill training, networking opportunities with professionals across the firm, and immersion in Blackstone’s culture.

Job Description

Blackstone’s Summer Analyst program offers a unique experience within the financial services industry. The Strategic Partners Real Estate Secondaries team is among the most active and longstanding investment groups in the real estate secondaries sector. The Summer Analyst will participate in valuation analyses and financial modeling of real estate funds and properties across geographies and asset classes, including multifamily, industrial and logistics, hospitality, retail, and niche sectors such as cold storage and data centers. The role includes involvement in secondary transactions, fund and asset-level recapitalizations, co-investments, primary commitments, and other transaction structures. Additional responsibilities include preparing internal materials for new transactions, preparing Investment Committee memos, compiling materials for weekly team meetings, and analyzing market data for various transactions.

Summer Analyst Responsibilities

  • The real estate vertical focuses exclusively on real estate secondaries investing within Strategic Partners.
  • Conduct extensive valuation analysis and financial modeling of real estate funds and properties across geographies and asset classes.
  • Assist on secondary transactions, recapitalizations, co-investments, primary commitments, and other transaction structures.
  • Prepare and present internal materials for new transactions; assemble Investment Committee memos.
  • Compile materials for weekly team meetings and analyze market data for various transactions.
