Personal Wealth (PW)
Goldman Sachs Personal Wealth (PW) specializes in creating comprehensive wealth management plans for high-net-worth individuals and families, as well as select institutions, including foundations and endowments. PW Teams work with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies drawn from our deep investment experience, diverse wealth management capabilities and global reach. Our Advisors deliver an unparalleled investment platform inclusive of the full product and service offerings of Goldman Sachs and beyond, which may include tax-efficient solutions, philanthropic planning and private banking and lending services. As client needs evolve, this close relationship allows the team to offer complementary services and new opportunities by leveraging the resources of Goldman Sachs and beyond.
How You Will Fulfill Your Potential
- Strategic Relationship Management: Collaborate intimately with Private Wealth Advisors to provide comprehensive support for relationship management and sophisticated investment processes, catering to the unique needs of high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients, family offices, university endowments, and nonprofits.
- Portfolio Oversight & Optimization: Proactively monitor client portfolios, assess manager performance, identify re-balancing opportunities, and recommend tactical investment ideas to optimize returns and manage risk.
- Tailored Investment Strategy Development: Design and create bespoke asset allocation proposals for new clients, integrating a broad spectrum of managers, investment styles, and vehicles. Ensure these strategies align with client risk profiles, investment objectives, and the firm’s strategic market views.
- Impactful Client Communication: Prepare compelling, client-facing materials that clearly depict asset allocation strategies, portfolio and risk analytics, historical performance, and insightful economic and market reviews, enhancing client understanding and engagement.
- Rigorous Investment Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on internal and third-party investment opportunities across public and private markets, ensuring all recommendations meet high standards of quality and suitability.
- Market Insight Synthesis & Communication: Synthesize complex research into clear, actionable insights and effectively communicate the firm’s strategic views to clients, enabling informed decision-making.
- Business Development & Growth: Support business development by conducting in-depth research on qualified prospects and tracking relevant capital raises, contributing to expanding the client base.
- Trade Execution & Market Access: Facilitate the execution of trades across a diverse range of products (equities, equity options, fixed income, currencies), ensuring seamless market access and efficient processing.
- Seamless Client Onboarding: Plan and manage the new account onboarding process, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and positive client experience.
- Client Reporting & Digital Engagement: Provide comprehensive overviews of client reporting capabilities and web functionalities to potential new clients, showcasing commitment to transparency and digital solutions.

- Academic Foundation: Possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, providing a strong analytical and conceptual foundation for a career in finance.
- Dynamic Environment Adaptability: Demonstrate the ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, maintaining clarity of thought under demanding circumstances.
- Market Acumen & Investment Instinct: Show strong interest in the financial markets with sound investment sense and commercial instinct to identify opportunities and navigate complexities.
- Collaborative & Agile Team Player: Effectively multi-task and collaborate with colleagues across the Firm, fostering a cohesive and productive work environment.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Possess strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Organizational & Interpersonal Excellence: Demonstrate strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong interpersonal abilities to build rapport and manage relationships.
- Essential Certifications: Hold or be prepared to obtain within three months of employment the SIE, Series 3, 7, and 63 licenses, demonstrating commitment to regulatory compliance and foundational securities knowledge.

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, NY-based position is $75,000–$125,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
