About the Department

Transaction Services (TS) is part of ING’s Wholesale Banking division and operates globally with daily banking-related products including Working Capital Solutions, Trade Finance Solutions, Payments & Cash Management, and Liquidity Management Solutions such as cash pooling and virtual cash management, as well as solutions offered via Bank Mendes Gans.

About the Position

Over a ten-week internship, you will work closely with the TS team, learning about Transaction Services products, how to position sales opportunities to clients, and developing a deeper understanding of trade finance, working capital, and liquidity management. You will be part of a collaborative, motivated, and supportive team working on challenging projects that utilize your skills.

Profile (What We’re Looking For)

• Undergraduate college student graduating in 2028 pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, engineering, or a related field.
• Graduate students may also be considered for certain roles.
• Liberal arts majors interested in finance and banking are welcome to apply.

Competencies

• Strong written and interpersonal communications skills.
• Self-starter with a can-do mindset and the ability to work without direct supervision.
• Team player.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Compensation & Details

Hourly Rate: $45/hour

Status: Full-time; Paid (Seasonal)

Start Date: June 2027 (10-week Summer Internship)
