Job Purpose
Intercontinental Exchange has an opportunity for a full-time Billing Analyst.
Responsibilities
- Perform billing activities for various revenue streams, such as Options and Equities trading fees, Listing fees, Pricing and Reference Data fees, Connectivity fees, Market Data fees, Regulatory fees, and other miscellaneous billing fees.
- Complete billing implementations to address additions, modifications, and terminations of services within accounts in a timely and accurate manner.
- Review fee schedules within customer contracts to ensure billing is based on contractual terms.
- Communicate with various business units, colleagues, and customers to resolve inquiries and/or discrepancies.
- Perform invoicing quality reviews and make recommendations to enhance billing methods, processes, and controls.
- Consistently meet all required deadlines for timely revenue collection/remittance.
- Monitor and maintain billing inboxes for customer inquiries and respond promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders on billing enhancements and projects by conducting required testing.
Knowledge and Experience
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a business-related field.
- Minimal years of work experience but must be driven and hardworking.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills are preferred; comfortable working with large data sets.
- Actively explore and adopt emerging AI technologies to enhance billing processes, improve data accuracy, and drive operational efficiencies.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner.
- Experience dealing with a large customer base is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexibility to handle various assignments.

New York Base Salary Range
The expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is between $70,000 – $85,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual. Regular full-time ICE employees are eligible for a suite of competitive employee benefits, including healthcare coverage (medical, dental and vision), a 401(k) plan, life insurance, time off, and paid leave for qualifying circumstances.
