We are seeking a candidate with strong interest in automation testing, cloud-based QA platforms, and modern intelligent test frameworks. The ideal candidate is eager to work with Selenium to support automated validation of web applications as part of Capgemini’s Next Generation Talent (NGT) program. Basic exposure to programming in Java or Python and a foundation in software QA fundamentals or automation tools is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Automation Design and Execution:
    • Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver to support functional, regression, and smoke testing.
    • Create low-code automated tests leveraging auto-healing, smart locators, and visual validation features.
    • Execute cross-browser test suites and validate frontend user journeys for web applications.
  • Frameworks, CI/CD, Cloud Testing:
    • Support development and maintenance of automation frameworks (Page Object Model, TestNG, JUnit).
    • Integrate automated tests (Selenium, Mabl) into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
    • Use Mabl’s cloud-based runner to orchestrate test runs, analyze results, and review auto-triaged failures.
  • Defect Management & Quality Governance:
    • Analyze automation results, document defects, and provide detailed reports.
    • Collaborate with developers and QA leads to refine test coverage and maintain testing standards.
    • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and testing strategy discussions.
  • API Integrated Testing:
    • Assist in API validations using Postman and Rest Assured for end-to-end coverage.
    • Use Mabl to validate API-connected user journeys and data-driven workflows where supported.

Skills

  • Functional Knowledge:
    • Selenium WebDriver, XPath, CSS selectors
    • Automation frameworks: TestNG, JUnit
    • Programming basics: Java, Python, JavaScript
  • Exposure to:
    • Mabl or similar low-code test automation platforms (e.g., TestRigor, Testim)
    • Test management tools (JIRA, TestRail)
    • CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
  • Preferred Skills:
    • Understanding of cloud-based execution (BrowserStack, Selenium Grid)
    • Awareness of AI-assisted testing concepts and auto-healing automation
    • Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, debugging mindset
    • Clear communication and collaboration in cross-functional teams
    • Curiosity to learn emerging tools like Mabl and adopt modern testing approaches
    • Ability to adapt quickly in Agile environments

Compensation

The base compensation range for the posted location is 70,000 to 93,767. Capgemini provides compensation information in accordance with applicable laws. The actual compensation offered may fall outside the posted range and will be determined based on factors such as location, education, experience, and performance. The company may adjust compensation plans at any time in accordance with applicable laws.
