Junior Product Associate – CollateralONE

Location: New York

We are seeking a future team member to join our CollateralONE group. In this role, you will support product execution and collaboration with stakeholders to understand user needs, prioritize backlog items, and assist in executing Agile ceremonies with a focus on collateral management, liquidity, financing lifecycle, and treasury operations.

Key Responsibilities

Product Execution

  • Write clear specifications for minor features and contribute to major feature specs, aligning with collateral and treasury management processes.
  • Collaborate with the product manager to balance timely delivery with product quality and minimize post-launch issues.
  • Conduct thorough quality assurance before launches and triage/prioritize bugs, particularly those impacting financing and liquidity workflows.

Customer Insights

  • Utilize data analytics to generate actionable insights that improve product functionality within collateral and treasury domains.
  • Partner with design teams to define user experience requirements and deliver designs for financing lifecycle and liquidity management users.
  • Incorporate user feedback from usability tests, surveys, and other research methods to continuously enhance product relevance and usability.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist in tracking and prioritizing the product backlog to ensure features align with the overall product strategy.
  • Participate in creating and maintaining documentation required for Agile ceremonies, ensuring clarity and completeness.
  • Define user stories under stakeholder guidance, focusing on collateral, financing lifecycle, and treasury management scenarios.
  • Support refinement and ongoing discussions of development user stories to ensure technical and business alignment.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in product roles; experience in financial services is preferred.
  • Experience in collateral management, financing, liquidity, and treasury operations is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across technical and business teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and business intelligence software is a plus.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and operational standards in financial services.

Compensation

The base salary for this position is typically between $59,000 and $124,000 per year at commencement. Final base salary is determined on an individualized basis, including experience and market location, and is part of the total compensation package, which may include commission, discretionary bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and company-sponsored benefits. This position is at-will and the company reserves the right to modify compensation and other discretionary payments at any time based on performance, location, or market factors.
