Introduction
We are expanding our Fab Operations and are looking for Process Engineers. In this role, you will sustain and improve process performance and statistical process control (SPC) to meet quality, cost, and productivity requirements. You will lead process improvements to eliminate inherent weaknesses and help achieve company goals.
Your Job
- Analyze SPC charts using SPACE. Understand the PR rules and their significance.
- Annotate properly to maintain quality troubleshooting rates for SPC out-of-control (OOC) events. Understand Cp and Cpk indices.
- Review ESPC charts using SPACE. Know the rules for ESPC.
- Analyze split lots, DOE data, ET, and sort yield using JMP and Klarity ACE.
- Create SPC charts, DCOP, and modify SLDB using PROMIS (Si-View).
- Upload recipes, verify recipe content, and ensure compliance using RMS.
- Raise PCRB and follow through with qualification plans; analyze data using required software and close CRs.
- Follow up on SPSR, MRB, 8D, TECN, or specification updates with ECN. Provide guidance to junior engineers.
- Startup and qualify new processes and equipment within scheduled timelines. Work closely with Equipment Engineers on new equipment acceptance; understand repeatability and reproducibility (R&R) concepts.
- Analyze data to identify chronic process issues, establish improvement programs, and lead engineers to resolution. Establish CAS and procedures and coordinate with other departments as needed.
- Coach engineers on using toolsets effectively. Provide feedback and training on troubleshooting, process understanding, decision making, and risk assessment.
- Lead engineers on improvement projects and process window studies; provide improvement plans to reduce OOC events and improve Cpk. Coach on process matching between equipment to reduce variation; perform DOE to identify factors for better tool matching.
- Collaborate with Equipment and Manufacturing Engineers to meet module objectives. Drive the team to achieve uptime and OEE targets.
- Take a leadership role in cross-functional task teams addressing yield improvements and excursion issues.
- Discuss integration-related issues and understand process flows.
- Resolve complex technical issues within the module or yield-related issues.
- Engage in cross-fab benchmarking to adopt best practices across fabs.
- Self-audit and update specifications and documentation to meet TS16949 quality standards.
- Multiple open positions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering, Microelectronics, or Materials Engineering.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in semiconductor wafer process engineering.
- Proven ability to identify, assess, and solve problems.
- Ability to work normal or swing shifts.
