Job Responsibilities

• Support relationship managers in delivering relevant banking services to customers in the assigned coverage area to meet the BU’s revenue targets.
• Execute credit as instructed by the Agent Office and oversee transactions where an office asks JCBD ASIA, SGBR-CBCD, or CBCD and SGBR-OSD or OSD to execute extensions of credit booked in Singapore.
• Manage booking administration, including funding and extension/collection of credits; report promptly to the Agent Office in case of any trouble (e.g., delay in repayment).
• Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage day-to-day business transactions with assigned customers.
• Handle customer onboarding services and updating customer account documentation.
• Process daily transactions, facilitate inquiries, and serve clients’ requests with accuracy, efficiency, and speed.
• Collaborate with Operations to ensure smooth processing of transactions.
• Visit customers as required to maintain relationships.
• Support team members and work closely with Relationship Managers and relevant APAC stakeholders to manage relationships and business development to achieve the BU’s targets.
• Support departmental initiatives to increase revenue opportunities and deliver high-quality service to customers.
• Provide transaction and monitoring support for MUFG products to meet customer needs.
• Meet the organization’s expectations for productivity, quality, and goal achievement.
• Comply with internal rules and guidelines as well as external laws and regulations governing banking activity; ensure compliance with relevant regulations and limits.
• Improve workflow efficiency.
• Advise on investment products related to OTC derivatives contracts (including FX Forwards) under the Financial Advisers Act (FAA) and to deal in investment products related to OTC derivatives under the Securities and Futures Act (SFA).
• Advise on investment products related to structured deposits (including Embedded Deposits) under the FAA.
• Handle Embedded loans.
• Monitor covenants, review call memos, review audited financial statements, and monitor conditions and instructions imposed by credit divisions to ensure Proper Transactions.
• Assist in periodic KYC reviews based on the KYC Procedure in Singapore and request the Agent Office to submit all required materials and information for the Periodic KYC Review.

Job Requirements

• Degree qualified. Desirable to have 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively and courteously with others.
• Good stakeholder management skills to collaborate with other departments.
• Strong team player with the ability to adapt to changing organizational needs and stakeholder demands.
• Detailed understanding of MUFG’s products and services.
• Understanding of local laws and regulations.
• Well-organized with efficient time management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
