2026 APAC Long Internship (Jul - Dec) – ALM Treasury - Singapore

For: Undergraduate students in any discipline from a recognized university

Duration: 6 months

Streams: ALM Treasury BM, GB ALM Treasury and ALM Treasury – IT Project

Start date: July 2026

Location: Singapore

What you will do

ALM Treasury has a unique position within BNP Paribas. It is a transversal activity present in more than 50 countries, with around 600 employees fulfilling three operational missions:

• Managing the Group's liquidity position under normal and crisis conditions
• Managing interest rate risks in the banking book
• Managing operational and structural foreign exchange risks

ALM Treasury operates in financial markets and partners with all of the Group’s entities.

ALM Treasury – Business Management intern

• Perform various ad-hoc analyses and reconciliations, including market risk, P&L, balance sheet, and funding topics
• Assist front office teams on ad-hoc tasks as required
• Enhance the regional ALMT communication platform
• Support business management in regional projects
• Maintain a weekly dashboard of financial markets indicators

Global Banking ALM Treasury intern

• Work on liquidity risk management for Global Banking activities in the APAC region
• Support balance sheet risk, regulatory expectations, and adherence to BNP Paribas’ ALM Treasury Management Framework
• Produce and maintain liquidity-risk dashboards for the APAC region and deliver timely indicators to senior management
• Develop understanding of liquidity regulation (Basel III – LCR, NSFR) and APAC-specific ALM‑Treasury requirements
• Learn and support internal liquidity‑pricing and risk‑measurement tools; identify and implement enhancements
• Test, validate, and assist in building ALM Treasury IT applications; provide functional testing support and help develop new tools

ALM Treasury – IT Project intern

• Work on liquidity risk management for Global Banking activities in APAC
• Support compliance with local ALM Treasury risk regulatory expectations and the ALM Treasury Management Framework
• Produce and maintain liquidity-risk dashboards for the APAC region
• Develop understanding of liquidity regulation (Basel III – LCR, NSFR) and APAC requirements
• Learn and support internal liquidity‑pricing and risk‑measurement tools; identify and implement enhancements
• Contribute to a strategic IT project that redesigns the liquidity‑pricing process, including requirements gathering and data analysis
• Test, validate, and assist in building ALM Treasury IT applications; provide functional testing support and help develop new tools
