Role Description
As a Global Marketing Intern, you will support the delivery of both tactical activation and strategic campaigns aimed at institutional clients. Working within the institutional segment marketing team, you will gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation and distribution, event coordination, and reporting, contributing to BNPP AM’s visibility and client engagement efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of strategic sales campaigns for the insurance and pension segments, including email marketing, campaigns with institutional content partners, content item delivery, video production, and global event coordination.
- Update and maintain global digital hubs; compile result metrics and reports.
- Collaborate with main institutional markets to increase visibility of key strategies (Equity, Fixed Income, or Multi-Asset) and align content distribution.
- Learn and use email marketing tools; contribute to an engaging email strategy for institutional clients and prospects, including templates, targeting, and reporting via the campaign management tool.
- Assist the global marketing team in improving access to a global marketing content repository and help maintain the SharePoint site.
- Suggest and implement new processes, procedures, or practices to improve team efficiency.
- Support the team’s overall efficiency by scheduling and preparing for meetings and maintaining workflows and pipeline documents as relevant.
Structured Development
The candidate will have the opportunity to shadow marketing managers and marketing executives to learn about global marketing strategy and execution within an international asset management business. Over time, the candidate will own ad hoc marketing projects to develop project management and broader communications skills, and will gain exposure to investment knowledge and the fund management industry.
Education, Skills & Experience
- Currently entering the 3rd year of a 4-year degree, ideally with a focus on marketing/communications/economics/finance/business.
- Confident communicator with excellent written and spoken English.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Creative, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Previous interest or experience in financial markets is helpful.
- Enthusiastic self-starter.
