Who you are

You're super-curious, ambitious, and ready to make your mark. You take pride in doing great work, love it when things get busy, and know that working together delivers the best results. If you’re a quick learner that’s passionate about solving problems and eager to make a difference working on real-world investment banking deals from day one, this could be the programme for you.

What you’ll do

From day one, you’ll be part of the action. You’ll work alongside experienced teams, gain real exposure to live deals, and contribute to meaningful work that helps our clients make major business decisions. You’ll learn fast, work hard, and build the foundations for a standout career in investment banking.

  • Work as part of a dedicated deal team – Collaborate with colleagues across global banking teams to think smarter and find winning solutions for clients, including corporates, private equity firms, and financial institutions.
  • Join one of our specialist teams – You’ll be placed in either Strategic Advisory, Corporate Finance, or Financing Solutions depending on business need and your skills.
  • Gain hands-on deal experience – Be exposed to live transactions from the start; your work will contribute to real decisions.
  • Build and maintain financial models – Analyse mergers and acquisitions, fundraising, and both debt and equity financings through modelling and valuation work.
  • Create client-facing materials – Support the team in developing pitchbooks, management presentations, and investment materials tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Apply valuation techniques – Use industry-standard methods such as discounted cash flow and comparables.
  • Research and analyse market trends – Stay informed on market developments to inform presentations and strengthen client relationships.
  • Support transactions – Prepare documents, meet clients, conduct research and checks before deals, and assist in deal delivery in real time.
  • Assist with team coordination – Help Senior Bankers with schedule management, meeting preparation, and project tracking.
  • Keep things above board – Learn to follow regulations and compliance to protect you, the team, and clients.

What you’ll learn

We’re not hung up on what you studied — we’re focused on where you’re headed. This programme is designed to develop the technical expertise, commercial awareness, and confidence to thrive in investment banking. You’ll receive mentoring, training, and on-the-job experience to support your learning.

Real-world learning

  • You’ll be challenged from the start; long hours are possible, but the learning is fast and the impact is real.
  • You’ll learn to work under pressure, juggle priorities, and make decisions with confidence.
  • You’ll develop skills to handle highly sensitive, confidential deal information.

Technical & financial skills

  • Build core banking skills in risk management, compliance, and financial analysis.
  • Learn how to build financial models and value businesses for deal analysis.
  • Learn leveraged buyout modelling and evaluate opportunities in loan and credit markets.
  • Deepen understanding of how financial markets operate.

Professional qualifications

We’ll support you in gaining industry qualifications depending on your location. Includes two weeks of residential technical and behavioural training led by external experts.

This is an investment in knowledge with purpose. By the end of the programme, you’ll be confident navigating complex financial environments and contributing to deals that matter.
