From day one, you'll be part of a team that protects client investments and delivers cutting-edge post-trade solutions. You won’t be shadowing – you’ll be doing.

What you’ll learn

You’ll join a dedicated product team, but your learning won’t stop there. You’ll gain insight across product development, client service, business management, and risk. You’ll develop sought-after skills in:

• Client management and stakeholder engagement
• Change and product development
• Risk and innovation in post-trade services
• Communication and teamwork in a global banking environment

You’ll also connect with other interns and colleagues from across HSBC, giving you a broad network and deeper understanding of how we work. Your first week focuses on building your foundation with structured training on technical knowledge and professional skills so you’re ready to hit the ground running.

Eligibility criteria

• Available to work full time for 10 weeks commencing June 2026
• Obtained, or expected to achieve, a GPA of at least 4.0 / 5.0 or 3.2 / 4.0 (as appears on your official university transcript or degree certificate), or overseas equivalent
• Expected to graduate between November 2026 and July 2027
• Fluent in English
