Who You Are
We’re looking for curious, thoughtful individuals who want to explore how their skills could fit into a career in Corporate and Institutional Banking. You don’t need any prior finance experience—just the right mindset and a genuine interest in learning.
You could be a great fit if you’re:
- Intellectually curious: You’re fascinated by how things work and always keen to understand what’s driving decisions, trends, and opportunities.
- A natural team player: You enjoy working with others, building strong relationships, and communicating clearly. You’re comfortable sharing your views and listening to different perspectives.
- A problem-solver: You’re proactive, good at managing your time, and know how to prioritise tasks.
- Detail-focused: You spot the small things that others might miss.
- Analytical by nature: You enjoy digging into data, asking smart questions, and figuring out the “why” behind what you see.
What You'll Do
Over four days, you’ll explore how you can make an impact—and how HSBC can support your ambitions.
Here’s an overview of what you’ll experience:
- Step inside the action: See how our teams build relationships with clients, and how we support them with everything from sustainable finance to risk management.
- See collaboration in action: Discover how Relationship Managers partner with teams across Trade Finance, Cash Management, Investment Banking, Capital Markets, and Markets and Securities Services to help clients succeed.
- Explore real-world challenges: Learn how we think about profitability and risk as we deliver solutions tailored to client needs.
- Bring data to life: Take part in interactive activities where you’ll analyse information, contribute to presentations, and start thinking like one of the team.
- Hear from those who’ve done it: Meet people doing these jobs day-to-day—from graduates to senior leaders—and learn how they started.
Do well and enjoy your time with us, and you could secure a place on one of our internships.
