  • Build trust easily with people, knowing relationships are key to success.

What you’ll do

Over the course of the programme, you’ll work with private banking clients and the teams who support them. You can expect to:

  • Work alongside Relationship Managers, Investment Counsellors, and Credit Advisers.
  • Build your knowledge of asset classes, financial products, and credit offerings.
  • Understand lending, credit solutions, advisory products, and loan structuring.
  • Manage and review client portfolios.
  • Develop your skills to prospect, manage, and report on both new and existing clients.
  • Use Excel to create and interpret client and portfolio reports.
  • Begin to run client meetings on your own with confidence.
  • Strengthen your ability to engage with people at all levels, from colleagues to senior stakeholders.

What you’ll learn

This programme combines structured training, professional qualifications, and a rotational experience to give you a rounded skillset:

  • One week of structured training in both technical and behavioural skills, plus ongoing on-the-job development.
  • Investment Advice Diploma (IAD) to be completed during the programme.
  • Option to work towards a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification.
  • Three 6-month rotations across different teams, giving you a 360° view of the Private Bank.
