What you’ll do

From day one, you’ll be hands-on in the world of investments, building technical and professional skills that will set you apart:

  • Develop analysis and coding skills.
  • Learn about investment research, portfolio construction and management.
  • Gain an understanding of asset classes, HSBC products, and hedge funds.
  • Build your confidence in engaging with others at all levels, while collaborating with your team to deliver on client needs and business objectives.
  • Research and present investment opportunities, market trends, and industry insights.
  • Manage your own workload while contributing to team goals.
  • Get curious and develop creative solutions when challenges arise.

Additional information

We will consider candidates that require visa sponsorship for this role (subject to Home Office guidelines).

Eligibility criteria

  • Available to work full time for 10 weeks commencing June 2026
  • Expected to graduate in 2027
  • Obtained, or expected to achieve, a minimum 2:1 Degree classification or higher or overseas equivalent
  • Fluent in English
