Liquidnet, part of the TP ICAP group, is a technology-driven, agency execution specialist that intelligently connects the world's investors to the world's investments.

The opportunity

Our Summer Internship will provide insight into the role of a financial intermediary, an agency execution specialist, and how the world's largest Inter-Dealer Broker functions. While day-to-day responsibilities will vary, the programme offers an opportunity to build foundational knowledge, professional skills, and experiences to pursue a career in this space.

Ideal candidates will be excited to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and team-oriented environment. If you are a strong communicator with a delivery and analytical mindset, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

This is a 12- to 13-week structured programme offering on-the-job learning, coaching, and mentorship from experienced colleagues in the analytics space.

The internship will start in early June 2026 and provides the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience. These positions are located in our Wan Chai, Hong Kong offices.

What we require from you

  • You are a penultimate or final-year student; available to undertake a full-time permanent position starting in 2026 or 2027.
  • Clear interest in a career within the Financial Services industry.
  • A passion for working with people, the ability to navigate ambiguity, and a delivery-minded mindset.
  • Ability to work with large data sets.
  • Programming knowledge, including Python and SQL.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively with a diverse team.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Comfort with ambiguous, ever-changing situations.
  • Prior exposure to Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI).
