Our Graduate Programme starts in June 2026 and offers trainees the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience across the various products in the Energy & Commodities space.

These positions are located in our Singapore office, at Raffles Place.

The opportunity

The Energy and Commodities Trainee Graduate Programme will give you the opportunity to gain unique insight into the energy and commodities industry, the role of a broker, and a view into how the world’s largest Inter-Dealer Broker functions. While day-to-day responsibilities will vary, the programme offers an incredible opportunity to build your foundational knowledge, professional skills and experiences to build a career in broking within the Energy and Commodities space.

This is an accelerated five-month long structured programme in Energy & Commodities offering on-the-job learning, coaching and mentorship from senior management. Upon completion of the programme in December 2026, you will be assessed and considered for a full-time permanent appointment within a team you are best suited to.

About Energy & Commodities

We are the world’s leading OTC energy and commodities broker. TP ICAP's global energy business operates markets in oil, gas, power, renewables, ferrous metals, base metals, precious metals, soft commodities and coal. What we require from you

• You will be a student in your final year of studies, able to undertake a full-time permanent position starting June/July 2026.
• Available for an in-person assessment center, likely in March 2026.
• A passion for working with people, the ability to navigate ambiguity and someone who thrives in a position which requires a delivery mindset.
• Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills. Able to work effectively with a diverse team.
• Can demonstrate both analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• An eye for detail.
• Comfortable with ambiguous, ever-changing situations.
• Prior exposure to the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word).
